EICR — Electrical Installation Condition Report

Landlords in England are legally required to have a valid EICR for each rented property, renewed at least every five years. We can advise on timing if you’re not sure when yours is due.

For a typical 3-bed house, a few hours on site. Larger or more complex properties take longer — confirmed when you book.

C1 means danger present, needing immediate attention. C2 means potentially dangerous, needing remedial work. C3 is an improvement recommendation, not a requirement. FI means further investigation is needed.
